1889 Venue On The Square is a wedding and event space that exudes historical charm and the architectural significance of the surrounding area. Though much of the venue is in its original, restored state, we provide a large modern elevator directly off our entry door.

Load-ins and outs are convenient, with reserved parking spaces directly at the entrance and a Free Parking Garage half a block from the main entrance.

Every wall of the Venue is surrounded by large historic windows, offering captivating views of the iconic courthouse with the Bell Tower towering right outside and viewed from all directions. It truly has a unique and exquisite setting, has been featured in numerous movies and television series, and contributes to Waxahachie's reputation as the Movie Capital of Texas.

Management of Operations and services

1889 is operated and managed by the prominent industry leader, Life’s Enchanted Moments, LLC. Since 2006, they have been providing unparalleled all-inclusive wedding and event services. Their in-house team offers every service necessary to fulfill any wedding or event requirements. Rather than relying on a "Preferred Vendor List," each team member is a paid staff, ensuring a truly distinctive service with a renowned and highly rated reputation.

While 1889 offers the option to customize your package with any desired service, it is not mandatory. Clients are free to engage any vendor of their choice without incurring penalties.

Brittney Wesley owns Life's Enchanted Moments, LLC, and manages all operations at 1889 Venue on the Square, with 18 years of experience specializing in wedding and event planning and floral and decor designs. Life’s Enchanted Moments is known for its full-inclusive packages, as they provide an entire team to meet all your needs for your event. Brittney is well-known in the industry and is highly regarded by her peers and industry leaders. She enjoys collaborating with couples to create elegant, timeless, and fun celebrations. Throughout planning and on the wedding or event day, Brittney provides professional, detail-oriented, and personalized service.

When not working, Brittney spends time with her beautiful family. She has 3 children aged 10 to 20 and a loving husband of 21 years. Outside of work, you can always find her spending time with her family on their farm, traveling for kids' sports, or playing on their boat. Her family operates an Orphaned Bottle Baby Animal Rescue, where they take in any orphaned animal, providing them with nutritional needs and care until they can be reunited with their new families or released back into nature. They also breed King Charles Cavalier Spaniels for therapy resource dogs.
